Autoimmunity risk - women: Thus, women may be at an increased risk of M2-mediated autoimmunity due to estrogen's ability to increase Th2 responses.https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/19819674 We also demonstrate that ***MSC (stem cells) IDO activity*** is implicated in the differentiation of monocytes into interleukin (IL)-10-secreting M2 immunosuppressive macrophages (CD14+/CD206+). Those monocyte-derived M2 are in turn implicated in the suppression of T cell proliferation in an IL-10-independent manner, thus amplifying the immunosuppressive effect generated by MSC.http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1525001616304646 MSC = mesenchymal stromal cells L-tryptophan is required for T-cell activation and inhibition of IDO correlated to rejection of the fetus by the mother (Gordon et al., 2003).http://cdn.intechopen.com/pdfs-wm/34561.pdf IDO is an enzyme that makes tryptophan convert to KYN acid and ultimately to niacin as opposed to tryptophan -> serotonin and melatonin. It *maybe* that Bb and C. Pneumoniae infect the MSC = our stem cells - which have a progesterone receptor on them. There are ways to lower progesterone via Rx and even some natural nutrients and "medicinal herb oils"... Here's one - an RX: RU486 (mifepristone) = progesterone inhibitor (Progesterone inhibitors = loss of a fetus.) In the case of C. Pneumoniae (a common lyme co-infection): These results indicate that RU486 may directly bind to the bacteria within cells and cause the destruction of C. pneumoniae."https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2415806/ ONCE the infection is destroyed, there is a way to reverse the damage - safely and naturally. You can get well.
