My most recent tests for this had my Free T4 low out of range, and my TSH low in range.
From the little research I did, this means "Non-thyroidal illness; rare pituitary (secondary) hypothyroidism"

I am being treated for my thyroid with Armour and Liothyronine. Have been for maybe 6 mos.

Anyone know what needs to be done w/this? More natural adrenal support?

this might sound a bit odd, but have you ever taste tested your iodine levels?

This is what I use:

I asked to have that checked on that round of tests but i didnt see it on the order.
Can iodine levels affect those readings?

Yes, very much so!

"Thyroid gland secretes 80 micrograms of iodine in the form of T3 and T4 hormones per day"
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3063534/

Here's an interesting article that may be helpful:

I highly recommend the BodyBio taste test, it's evidence-based supplementation and you can see (taste) the needs of your body change. If you decide to buy it, pm me for a cool thing I made to help visualise your progress (it's free).

And I dont eat table salt (just b/c it's not good for you w/the chemicals) so I dont get much iodine I don't think.
I'll bring it up to my ND. They may have something like that there

What's your TSH? You may just need to up your Armour. Many people feel best when TSH is in the .1-0.05 range.

Mung beans and seaweed are good sources of iodine. If you like to cook I can send you some recipes.

If you have Hashi you dont take iodine correct? I dont think I have it, but I dont know if Ive gotten tested.

I do cook, but only the bare necessity of what I am forced to do w/this f*ing disease.

I do want to get my iodine level checked first tho.
