I've been doing really well for quite some time.

A while back, I took a cream for a rash I was having which has steroids in it.

I didn't think this cream would be a problem since I was doing so well. Obviously I was wrong.

Has anyone relapsed on steroids of any sort?

If you have, did it take you a long time to recover?

I've had babesia for a long time, which I thought was gone.

I've been feeling pretty bad for the last 6-8 weeks.

I'm so sorry to hear this! I relapsed in part I believe due to steriod nasal wash preparation last spring- I was able to get on Zhangs herbals and get back. It's pretty unbelievable this small amount can kick lyme and cos into high gear. Im sorry!Godspeed!

Yes. Steroids, even in small topical doses can cause Lyme & coinfection relapse. It has happened to me a couple times.

If you are relapsing that easily, I strongly suggest you boost your immune system by following the Burrascano exercise program.

It is one continuous hour of weightlifting (a full body workout) every OTHER day. You use light weights and many repetitions.

My great lyme doctor told me I would never get rid of lyme unless I did this exercise. It was unbelievably hard for me to do it since my main symptom was extreme muscle weakness. Nevertheless, I persevered until I was able to do the one hour.

I was cured of lyme 12 years ago. I have since taken steroid injections in my back a number of times, taken steroids orally, and used steroid nasal sprays. Lyme did not come back.

However, when I used the steroid nasal spray daily for 3 months, I started to catch every illness that came down the pike. I then stopped the spray and went back to the weightlifting and I no longer caught any illnesses at all.

Hope this helps everyone. You MUST return your immune system to normal so that you don't have to deal with these relapses over and over.
