I am struggling to find foods I can eat. I suspect that my body is unable to process oxalates... perhaps due to having taken cipro in the past.
That drug and other fluoroquinolones can kill out the ONE bacteria that we MUST have to digest oxalates. You CANNOT replace it with a supplement.
So... I hope and pray that once I reduce the oxalates sufficiently, I will be able to eat foods containing histamine and salicylates....which right now are NOT being eaten in very large quantities.
When I eat foods high in oxalates, I have really bad joint pain, sometimes pain all over. It's pretty bad.
There is evidence to suggest that oxalates can MUCK up a LOT of body systems. So I have hope of resolving this issue.
