Anti-inflammatory anti-biotics. I was noticing in my reading that some of the antibiotics are more anti-inflammatory than others and particular Vanco the one that works great on me is a very highly rated anti-inflammatory. Could this be why it works so well on me.

If you think you may be benefiting from its anti-inflammatory properties, then try some anti-inflammatory supplements and/or the anti-inflammation diet (created by a lyme doctor) and see if these help even more.

Lyme and coinfections cause a lot of inflammation which is what is responsible for a lot of our symptoms. Brain fog is due to inflammation in the brain that keeps us from getting proper blood flow to our brains. Inflammation is what makes joints hurt, and on and on.

Vanco is rarely prescribed compared to other antibiotics, so this is something you really should pursue. No need to request Vanco to help you feel better.

Getting your inflammation down can make you feel great! One lyme doc I know told a patient that the diet alone can make a 30 to 40% improvement in symptoms.

Here is the Lyme Anti-Inflammation Diet:

I have a friend who was diagnosed by a rheumatologist as having rheumatoid arthritis. Her hands swelled up like balloons and the pain was off the charts. This would happen to her every few days.

I took her to a doctor who believed that RA was an infection and could be cured with antibiotics.

He first gave her anti-inflammatory supplements. These special supplements included about 15 herbs in each big capsule. They worked great for her!

He also tested her for allergy to various common foods.

At her second appointment, he told her the 4 foods she was most allergic to. By eliminating them, her RA went away.!!!

So, I saw proof of how well herbs can calm inflammation. Also, I saw how important it is to go to a doc who believes in food allergies if you are having a major inflammatory illness (which lyme is.)

After a few months, this woman was able to maintain her health by just avoiding the 3 foods that she was extremely allergic to. If I had not seen this with my very own eyes, I would not have believed it.

Both her PCP and the rheumatologist said she had RA. Well, it looks like all she had was extreme inflammation resulting from food allergies.

The foods she was allergic to included corn, eggs, and wheat if I am remembering correctly. She was about age 55 when all this happened to her.

Could be TCoach, but it could also be helping you address the bacterial load. And/or both.

At this point, with no one knowing much of anything, my theory is if it makes you feel better, do it.
