I have been taking malarone, zith, and artemisia for 5 months and was doing better with my symptoms. However, two months ago things started to go downhill.
I have constant head pressure with headache and eye pain. My neck at my skull is so painful and my nausea is most of the day. The nausea and pressure are unrelenting with much anxiety. The only thing better is air hunger.
I am detoxing. I am trying to figure out if this is normal for babesia to hang on like this. I have duncani and microti. I am so lost and upset.

Yep, unfortunately, either babesia goes away rahter fast, or it will be stubborn and stay for long...
The most tricky thing with babesia is that few symptoms remain constant, but they keep changing. I guess what remains constant is the fog, fatigue, but the rest changes (even night sweats may disappear, but then hot flushes appear,...).
Babesia needs, in my opinion, constant change of herbs, rotation, addition of stuff like Noni or Cardamon, multiple substances to treat it. In rotation.
I used muscle tests to find out. It's a very smart pathogen, a master to hide, in my own experience.
Treat it until you got zero symptoms, or it may keep coming back and back..
Sorry to know you have both strains. Must be hard to treat it....
I would highly recommend some sort of bioenergetic testing, to tune your medicine against babesia every 2 weeks at most! Keep changing the treatment, and it will eventually go dormant (in my experience, of course....).

Thank you Brussels. I was going to add in a few of the Buhner herbs but was scared with how bad I am doing now. I'll have to look up Noni and Cardamon because I am unfamiliar with them.
Bioenergetic testing would be great if I can find someone near me. Hope so.

I can't say whether Babesia is gone for me or not, but I went OFF Malarone last month (after being on it for 6 months), and I felt much better. I needed it, to really kill off the Babesia, but my energy and pain levels are better off of it now.
I too have found the Buhner herbs to be very effective. Babesia sucks, I'm sorry.

A number of your listed symptoms don't sound like Babesia to me, but more like Lyme, and quite possibly Bartonella. Which is not to say that you don't still have Babesia to fight!
If you didn't test positive for those, that doesn't mean you don't have them. Talk with your doctor about this. Hopefully, you have a good LLMD. If not, you need a good one!
