I am continuing to struggle with Lyme like symptoms but am on a path to care/treatment. Will update later in my thread "Suspecting Lyme".
My symptoms are very consistent now. No one of them really horrible, but they do keep me from doing all that I want to. I thought I would post here and ask if other confirmed Lyme sufferers have similar ones, because the way they come and go is very different from anything that I have experienced.
Fatigue has been with me for 18+ months now, on and off until 2-3 months ago, since then near constant. About 80% of the time, I can "power through it" I retired in January and have been trying to take 1-2 mi hikes with our dogs every afternoon. As I pass that couch with my boots in hand and excited dogs around me, I think "Ooh. I could so nap right now.....". But I make myself go and most often once I get in stride on a hike, I don't feel it. Hills get tough, but I can do 2-3 miles at a good pace usually.
Today, feeling pretty crappy, I made myself go in my shop and really got into a solid 2 hour run of some metal fab work. Kind of shocked, when I finally decided to stop and go in an eat dinner, that I had worked that long and felt pretty good doing it. But when I stopped, stood there for a minute, and then felt "it" suddenly rush back into me. I feel weakness in my legs often.
Anyone have that? In rare instances, I am just too tired and I can't make myself do much. Climbing stairs I really feel it.
Also, I have symptoms come and go very quickly. I'll get a headache that lasts 25 mins, then is gone. Earaches, tinnitus, odd body/joint pains. Nothing excruciating, but very noticeable. There, then gone.
My right knee hurts pretty much at some point every day, feels like it will lock or collapse sometimes, but it never has. But it has never swollen at all. My left shoulder, when I am still, hurts a bit, then tingles, radiating outward..... but never has been swollen or limiting in any way. Anyone else have this? Joint pain with no swelling or limits of motion?
Nausea comes and goes often, sometimes for the better part of the day. Has been for 18 months. But never a problem with appetite, digestion, etc. Everything GI is working perfectly.
Again, just interested to know if anyone experiences these symptoms, in these ways. Fatigue that I can plow through, joint pain with no swelling, 20 minute symptoms, etc, all seem add/new to me. Wondering if it is a Lyme thing or not.
Thanks

It's Lyme.
Nothing there sounds out of the ordinary for Lyme. And the fact it comes and goes and changes is typical for Lyme.
It is good that with the fatigue you can still "plow through it". Many can't.

spiffy, please get off that doctor merry-go-round you've been on.
We've all been there done that and it is a waste of time, money and actually those docs are harmful to your future health and well being.

You can try remedies for symptoms. For example, most of us take some form of magnesium, which is needed for our cells' creation of ATP energy. I also lived on flower pollen for awhile, which maintained my energy.
I am doing well taking capsules of turmeric, which is anti-inflammatory. Keeps all muscle and joint pain down.
I get nausea when my C2 neck vertebra is out of place. A good neck chiropractor can check on that possibility.
I hope you have gotten referrals to good Lyme-treating docs in your area.
