Hi <<<<< LymeNet Family >>>>>,

Does anyone know, what mental health/ brain chemistry type issues are most common in those w/ Lyme and Co's?

I ask because of concerns about someone dear to TrekC' and myself. It is a complicated situation, but we are quite concerned for them.

They've been going thru some very rough things, and are known to have had tick bites [ some had actually attached ],from a young age.

And over time, we've found that the individual has had some very similar, ongoing symptoms to mine.

Any thot's on this,and/or info' would be appreciated! Thanks !

Hi <<<<< Lymetoo,and whew >>>>>,

I've been looking at some of the symptomology...OMG, so similar to many of my issues, and that of our 'Dear One' too.

Our Dear One, has many of the symptoms, and so do I. Now, I'm betting that this issue could cause a number of Mental Health issue symptoms, and could cause our friend to have been misdiagnosed.

The more I see on this the more I am wondering. Thanks for the links Lymetoo!!!

I have to do more research, wish my memory would behave, Dear one told us of some odd Aphasia symptoms, and my brain wont remember them... Aargh!

Jus' me-Silverwolfi,

Had to look up aphasia, memory has been worse than usual since heart surgery.

Dear Ones aphasia, happens at times when they are tired, and others around them are speaking normal American-English, sound like they are talking in a different language that our friend doesn't understand.

It is particularly difficult for them, working in a service industry.

I've had a few odd symptoms myself, searching for words,and/or my brain substitutes the wrong word. An Example: I am taking an Ecocentric medicine, what I meant was 'I am taking an Enteric coated medicine.

And I've been listening to someone speaking just normal words, and sometimes cannot understand them.

Other MCAS/MCAD issues, friend literally has had brain swell, from coming in contact with sizing chemicals for new clothing.

Example, hanging new clothing on the rack for sales, they had to leave a job, because it caused what seemed like a serious bipolar episode in a short time.

Serious crying jag, for 20 or so minutes, for no known reason, that laughing at everything. It was actually a serious allergic reaction.

So I'll try to get this info' to our Dear One.
