I just had an igenex test come back and my babesia duncani igm was 40. my llmd said it was positive but not a high positive. My big symptoms for the past year have been terrible anxiety, night sweats, shaking, feeling very messed up emotionally. She wants me to start mephron and zirthomax. anyone have any thoughts on this treatment plan because she thought the number should be much higher than 40 because of the severe symptoms and how long I have had it, about a year.

If you have the night sweats where you are drenched, it is likely you have babesia. That was my #1 symptom for babs recurrences. I would take the Mepron and Zith. If you dont got it, its not going to do anything to you. If you do, itll keep it controlled

thank you for replying to my post. yes I am drenched every night. I also have severe air hunger and breathing issues. My llmd said to start the medication and see what happens. I am scared to start this regimen as I have read that Mepron can cause a lot of side affects and severe herxing. My daughter had chronic lyme years ago but not babesia so I am not new to this lyme crap. Were you on this medication and if so, did you have any issues with it?

I would also like to ask another question. Does babesia duncani give you a lot of psych crap like anxiety/depression?
