It sounds like you are herxing. I've heard an increase in symptoms can be a sign of a herx. If you feel really bad you could call your doctor.

I had a horrible stomachache and diarrhea on zithromax, so I finally called my LLMD about it and he said to stop the antibiotics for a few days- not that I'm suggesting you stop your antibiotics. Your doctor might say to do something else.

I hope you feel better!

thank you very much. I may call tomorrow if I feel the same way. Just talked to her yesterday and told her I was fine and now today, feeling horrible. I suspect it may be herxing or the Zithromax.

Start keeping a daily journal. Write down everything. Symptoms, meds, doctors visits, tests, foods, anything you encounter during your treatment protocol.

For herxs:
Mix juice of lemons and limes into clean water. Sip throughout the day to detox and flush toxins out of body.

Buy alka selzer gold to relieve toxic feeling.

Take 20 minute Epsom salt bath to relieve pain and to replenish magnesium.

Eat clean, no sugar or gluten, lots of fresh vegetables.
Get plenty of rest and sleep.

It's a rough ride. You have to fight through it.
Call your LLMD when in doubt. Listen to your body.

I still have the feeling of throwing up all day long. Talked to llmd last night, she said to take Zithromax on a full stomach after dinner. Take mephron with a fatty food such as cream cheese, peanut butter. any other suggestions. she said I could be herxing and mentioned the Epson salt baths, lemon water. I feel since I started these medication four days ago like I have the flu.

So yesterday I felt definitely like I had the flu, I had a temperature and called my llmd and she said stop medicine for a few days then go back on. Could mephron cause flu like symptoms?
