can someone please tell me the symptoms of babesia duncani? I have looked it up several times but still am confused. Also can someone explain to me what band 34 means on an immugon lab results. My llmd said band 34 means I have been exposed to lyme within past twelve months, is this true? I am very confused as to really what do I have. I have major anxiety, memory lost, feeling like I am in a mental fog, sweating. Am on mepron and zith and feel horrible. Is this herxing or what? she doesn't exlain much to me so that is a huge problem. I had my coinfections ran through igenex and babesia duncani showed up as 40 and she said that is just above normal and I shouldn't have all these symptoms. Since of these two meds, I have had stomach issues, crying a lot, headaches, and feel horrible. Please help.

Someone talked about that just moments ago!

She said that her duncani symptoms were A LOT in her head: anxiety, pressure, burning, etc.

Maybe she'll chime in!

air hunger, dry cough, being tipsy, feeling like you have a tight hat on, drenching sweats, muscle aches (severe)

see CALDA DVD with Dr. Burrascano - about $40 for the set - he lists all co-infection symptoms, very helpful

I don't really have any of the other symptoms, but I feel tipsy most of the time. I'm sure I had babesia at one point (about 10 or 15 years ago). I don't have vertigo anymore though.

Could this be babesia coming back? I DO get a cough sometimes and maybe air hunger. My naturopath did some kind of test and said it went away, but sometimes I'm not sure.

tearfulness certainly can be a symptom as can anxiety and well.. actually all your symptoms...

my dr says tearfulness and air hunger and night sweats are the most common....

If I were you I would try to get on top of the anxiety. Anxiety in and of itself can give you physical symptoms.

This page linked below has a list of Babesia symptoms. It does not separate them into what strain you have. Many people have more than one strain.

Hope you are feeling better soon!

My symptoms of Babesia were stomach pain and nausea, like a knot high up by the ribs, night sweats, and air hunger. It depends where you get it. When people get it in the lungs they get a cough.
