YALE! UGH!
How many people have become sick at their hands?
😵😡😥
NOW (eighteen years later) Yale researchers are saying it is easier and better to test ticks that bite people rather than performing human skin biopsies looking for Borrelia spirochetes.
QUOTE BY SHAPIRO 2010 (YALE- IDSA GUIDELINE AUTHOR) "Analysis of ticks to determine whether they are infected is not indicated because it is unclear how these test results correlate with the probability of human disease."
QUOTE IN 2006 IDSA LYME GUIDELINES- "Testing of ticks for tickborne infectious agents is not recommended, except in research studies (D-II)."
