Very good find, Tincup! His rash was exactly like a miniature bulls-eye Lyme rash no more than a centimeter in diameter. Very interesting. But, not very surprising.
Also, it's interesting (and not very surprising) that one other case was reported by....you guessed it....Gary Wormser! Now isn't he an expert?!!! (Hack, gag!)

Thank you SO much Tincup for miyamatoi rash pictures !!! When I looked at them I couldn't believe my eyes. That was MY rash.
I clearly explain the small size of my bulls eye rash. My county that year tested 80% positive for borrelia bourgdefori and borrelia miyamatoi.
Don't let that small baby rash fool you !!!! It is one nasty pathogen and destroyed my life as I knew it.
Oh how I wish I would have taken a picture of it.
These pics are a GREAT find. I feel vindicated.

Wow, amazing photos. Thanks so much Tincup. I am positive for borellia miyamotoi and also had a small rash similar to that for a very long time on my thigh.
I also remember my husband having something similar on his arm that we thought was ringworm, but it was not itchy. I think I posted it on lymenet but it was so long ago. Wish I could find it. Now I am wondering!

TC, you have the best collection of pics of Lyme & co I've ever seen on your Maryland site.
I refer to it often for others. Thanks for your work.
