Zhang's studies indicate a good combination for Lyme may be: Doxycycline, Ceftin and Oil of Oregano. Babesia treatment is Zithromax and Mepron. Both Doxycycline and Zithromax are bacteriostatic (which means they cause the bacteria to stop growing); and Ceftin is bacteriocidal (which means it works best when the bacteria are growing). Doesn't seem wise to use Doxy with Zithro with Ceftin. Which antibiotics are you using to treat both?
