Can these be ordered online w/o doctor Rx?

If yes, which is the best company/test kit?
Is there one that uses a swab i/o "spit".

I don't make much of the latter having dry mouth.
(I have to keep gum in my mouth to produce saliva day and night).

Thanks!!

I would recommend you read this site. To get an accurate cortisol test there are many steps leading up to the saliva test and during the day of testing.

Good luck with the tube spitting. It took me a long time and lots of work to get to the full spit line, four times in one day. I too have dry mouth.

I have dry mouth too and it is almost impossible to get enough to wet the whole cotton strip. I wonder if the test is accurate then.

Also, many of us have circadian rhythms that are out of whack, where we are producing very high cortisol at night and not able to sleep.

If that sounds like you, it is a better idea to do a 5 tube test, with an extra tube at the time of night you wake up and can't go back to sleep.

If it is too hard to do that many, maybe you could talk your doctor into moving one of the other tubes to the middle of the night.

You can order one yourself, but you must have a doctor for them to send results to. The doctor needs to call Doctors-Data or whichever company you use and initiate a relationship with them for that to happen.

Best wishes on the results...
