Also, don't forget about the possibility of gluten intolerance and/or celiac. The symptoms of celiac overlap greatly with the symptoms of Lyme, especially the neuro-symptoms and brain fog, but also the arthritic symptoms to a greater extent than one might imagine. Just do a simple computer search or visit any celiac website to see a symptoms checklist for gluten sensitivity.
