I did search through the previous posts but it is overwhelming
I can get the machine hooked up - but then what?
The book that came with it talks about 4 hour and 8 hour sweeps
or you can use it for 5 min?
how can I get started?
for Candida and Lyme, I think, I would like to try
any help much appreciated from someone so kind to spare the time who has done this before

I guess I am just wanting to get started with some basics: how long, what frequencies, how often, and what to expect.
Don't see that anywhere, but maybe I am dense.
wonder of there is someone else who just started and can share their first few session experiences and why they picked what they picked

I have the EMEM 5A .. I only rifed about 2 minutes each session in the beginning.
Bryan says to rife only once every two weeks .. but I know tons of people who ignore that.
For one thing, the herxes can come a few days later, so be careful.
Do you have a copy of the CAFL? It has all the frequencies for every disease. Just go online and print it out.
I kept a notebook and wrote down which frequencies I did and how many minutes. I also wrote down any reactions I had.

Harmony, do you do facebook? There is a private group to join called Rifing Lyme.
Look at the book for the auto channel for Candida. You should be able to run that amount of time for Candida. It will take several runs of it before you will start to see evidence of candida leaving your body.
When it comes to running Lyme????? Nobody knows how much your body can handle at this time. You would not want to do a Lyme auto channel completely at first.
Start slow with one freqency number and just do 1-2 minutes, wait at least 3 days to see how hard your herx before doing another short.
I don't own a GB4000, so my knowledge is limited to a friend that does and a naturopath that I see uses the GB. I own another type rife.

herxing after the a few days sounds scary - so it is hard to tell what is coming
one frequency at a time - ok - I may be able to do that, but it sounds like I won't live long enough it I start with 2-3 min, one frequency and wait two weeks...
there are so many Lyme frequencies, and there is gating, square wave, pulsing, sequences of frequencies or groups, 5 min, 4 hour, 8 hour sweeps - oh boy!
