I'm seven months into the Buhner Mycoplasma protocol which runs a for a year. I've never been constipated in my life but am now and I'm very sure it's the herbs that are hardening my stool. Gut issues started when I began the protocol and has progressively gotten worse. The protocol is working so I do not want to go off it.
It could be that the herbs are killing gut bugs or maybe it's just having a hardening effect on my stool.
Specific brands?
At any rate, what are people using for this. I had no idea that it could be so unpleasant.

I drink mangosteen juice which stops constipation for me. It's an anti-inflam juice. I get it at the health food store. It can also be found online. I drink about an ounce daily.
Also check on the impact of drinking water - might help some.

High dose of buffered vitamin C, 1/2 teaspoon, 1000mg. Not too high, or you'll have explosive results. Also prune juice daily.
