For those of you who take Boswellia and or Berberine, do you take it at the same time as vitamins? Does it matter? Thanks!

- I take berberine on an empty stomach - often about a half hour prior to a meal . . . but also an hour or so before bed on a empty stomach. You want to have some time for the water with it to work it's way out of your bladder so as not to interfere with sleep.
I take it for a variety of reasons. If you are taking it to help control blood sugar and insulin, it is best a half hour prior to food to help keep surges down a bit with a regular balanced meal.
It also helps prevent carb cravings, by the way. A nice bonus.
It works fine for me, either way with or without food but I think it's best not with a bunch of other stuff at the same time.
Vitamins are best right in the middle of a meal, anyway to work with the food's nutrients - and I think the benefits of berberine can get sort of "lost" then, just a hunch, though. -

- To clarify, I'm talking about berberine capsules. I don't think I could do an alcohol tincture on an empty stomach, could be harsh on the gut. I also seem to get a histamine reaction to tinctures so I didn't think that you might be doing that form rather than capsules that I had assumed. -

I am taking capsules - the Good State ones that Carol mentioned. Wasn't aware of tincture, but I like capsules.
