Since I'm in bad shape and overly toxic, I have to make sure like so many here that my food is as clean as possible...
I eat rib-eye steaks from Walmart from a brand called Marketside Butcher that claims it is grass-fed, grass-finished beef. (Not labeled organic). Label also says no antibiotics/hormones.
From what my husband tells me, I can trust that any meat that is labeled grass-fed, grass-finished is clean and ok for me to eat. True?? It concerns me since there are no certifications for this and to me seems like any company can put any words they want on a label...just to sell more.
My main question is.... does anyone know if this brand of meat from Walmart is truly clean?? I've been searching online and can't find much info regarding this brand. (Other than from Walmart themselves)

I didn't find much on the brand but hormone free and antibiotic free is a plus if it is true.
Since you only eat it occasionally, treat yourself and try not to worry.
I am pretty careful about my food, but the organic produce here (except farmer's market in summer) never looks good and is too expensive. So, I know some of produce has chemicals.
We can only do so much.
