The Seagate brand has the highest concentration of oleuropein (active ingredient) in it. Our family uses it whenever someone comes down with any kind of respiratory infection (or stomach flu, for that matter!!!).

I had bronchitis a couple months ago. I found that slippery elm and marshmallow root are supposed to help. I also found out that bromelain and NAC are supposed to help loosen mucous.
I didn't try olive leaf, because I seem to be allergic to it.
I couldn't find any slippery elm bark at the health food store, but I was able to find a celestial seasonings brand tea with slippery elm in it. It seemed to help a lot.
These posts pretty much explain what they are and how they work, but now you can buy salt inhalers from vendors on Amazon. Plus, the prices have come WAYY down!
I have not had bronchitis at all since I got a salt pipe. Walmart now carries them, as do drugstores.
