After you have LYME with a positive early stage ELISA-doesn't remain positive your entire life. I had been bitten and had the bulls-eye rash in 1996 & a positive early stage ELISA at that time & at subsequent later testing. Now I was retested and have a negative ELISA test? Now my main symptom is peripheral neuropathy type symptoms.
