It's been a really long while since I have been here. So much has happened in my life....

I've been doing fairly well Lyme wise, staying on Herbs and off of abx.

But never turn your back right?

Last month I had alot of dental work done, with drilling and more drilling. It set off the trigeminal nerve on the left side of my head. It took me two weeks to calm it down, with Lyrica. The left side of my face and migraines were some of my first Lyme symptoms.

Then suddenly last week, I was talking to someone and this large floater just moved across my eye. I went to the ophthalmologist and was screened for any retinal detachment. They saw nothing. But that night I started to see the flashing in the left side of my left eye. The next morning I felt like i had a migraine, with light sensitivity, malaise etc.

I thought it might be due to the drops they used to dilate my eyes, constricting the blood vessels. But 7 days later, I still have the same symptoms. I spoke to the ophthalmologist yesterday and he said he didn't think the drops would cause a headache, and I need to relax. I told him about my 12 year history with Lyme and kind of got "the look". I actually cannot believe that in 12 years, "the look", still exists. And I know you all know what "look" I mean.

Friday I have an appt with my LLMD. It's a follow up and my labs should be back. I already know that my CDC Western Blot is negative. Will find out about Igenex at the appt.

If Igenex is negative too, do I treat the eye problem with abx, or not? If it's positive, I definitely will. I never like being at the crossroads like this.

Diagnosed in 2007. Does it ever end??

For years dental work has always been trauma to my body and in turn I would have days of bad flares.

The last two years, dental work means a stress situation to my immune system. Therefore some virus in my body becomes activated. The viral load is real.
