Hi,

I hear a lot about using essential oils for lyme treatment but have never been prescribed by any dr. and do not know if they are effective. If anyone has had good results please report and tell what you have what you used how you used them and where to buy them.

I do take some oils (oregano, garlic, clove) but I've been taking them for 2 years now and I think I'm immune to them.

Some people can be burned badly with essential oils, either on their skin or when swallowed.

Their use is best as part of a larger, more comprehensive treatment plan.

And, when any essential oil is taken internally, it's best inside a very sturdy gel cap that will not break open too soon, higher up in the digestive tract.

I use them along with herbs and antibiotics. There are many who have gotten well just using essential oils.

But, I personally think they are very strong and should not be taken internally.

Instead, mix the essential oils with coconut oil or olive oil and rub on the skin. They will be absorbed into the body more slowly that way.

Start with a very small amount and build up. Watch your reactions. A bad reaction could be a herx or an allergy to a particular essential oil.

Be sure to detox.
