According to Dr B's "Diagnostic Guide for Lyme Disease"
a patient should be antibiotic free for atleast 6 weeks for highest yield of antibodies. (page7)

Thanks. I was just noticing he indicates which bands you should see on western blot. Is he saying if you don't have these bands-you don't have Lyme? I originally had 41 & another when I was first infected. Now I just have 93(24 years later).

is it 6 weeks wait even for co-infections.

I am due back to doctor within 6 weeks for now. They want me to take 6 days Medrol & Celebrex & see a neur also.

I would have to have the bloodwork before starting the Medrol if I take it. I held off on it for 2 months so far.

Unsure what to do. I don't want to be in a worse situation than I am right now.
