Hi group Have had Lyme over 27 years. Was just diagnosed as positive about 5 months ago. We all know protocol... Went to my NY LLMD and started antibiotics. Luckily I found LLMD in Florida and the two are working together.
Now have developed a UTI. In all of my prior treatments over the past 27 years, I have had yeast infections, but not UTI. Now taking three antibiotics and going for an MRI with contrast on Thursday. The pain can be unbearable so I feel sorry for you. It will go away with treatment so plow through as best you can. I go for weekly catheter installations of antibiotic and lidocaine which provides relief. Pain killers can be your best friend.
Good luck on your MRI. Let's us know how it comes out. I didn't have MRI but had ultra sound and cystoscopy which showed widespread Inflamation.
