Good stinking morning..

HA!

I SHOULD be in bed! SORRY!

I am starting to wear out...

hehehe

Is there a list anywhere.. or how do I find out.. with the LEAST effort...

What complaints ducks have against them?

I need to do a MIGHTY BIG presentation and need to tell all about the Bumsteere gang and problems they are having with patients, lawsuits, etc.

Have Lyme clinics closed? Any details?

Who's got info to share to help me?

Yep.. I need DIRT.

So let me have it!

THANKS!

yippee,
i love this kind of intrigue. I belive each state has a board for complaints against doctors, as well as the American Medical Association in general.

if this is not specific eought let me know I just came across this the other day...can't remember just where at this time in a.m.

are you awake 24 hours a day?
regards

This is a good one...verbatim discussion with Joel Miller about the persecution of lyme docs in NY...includes patient testimony as well...

includes discussion with patients AND the doctors being persecuted..

Tincup,

My bro is a radiologist and he told my sister that my western blot only showed that I had been "exposed" to Lyme--not that I had Lyme.

This is just the kind of opinion some docs have--if that helps any--I mean he is blood and I've never been sick a day in my life befor this....

AC Steere on our state's website (MA) for physician info shows, in the last 10 years, no malpractice claims against him, no criminal convictions, no hospital disciplinary action (Mass General), and no action from the state board.

This website is excellent and updates things quickly too, so it is complete and comprehensive. In short, he may not advocate for chronic Lyme, but he is clean as a whistle.

Yeah Tinnie!!!

Don't have anything to help out, sorry! But just wanted to cheer you on for your efforts.

One thing that popped into my head was checking local BBB and AMA's. Isn't there a way to check if a particular physician is in good standing state wise?? Course he/she could be in good standing in the state that they're located in but elsewhere who knows?

Somethings I do when checking out a doc is google him/her and see what info comes up. This was helpful for me when looking for a hematologist. All kinds of malpractice stuff came up just under the physician's name. Interesting reading.........

Best of luck too you!!

That investigation info was dated 2000. The stuff I looked up was TODAY. Is that investigation still in progress does anyone know or was it closed without a negative finding? Either option would show up as no action from the state board.

BTW, my name is Dura Mater (for some reason most folks spell it DuramEter????).

It is not in progress today....as I recall there were no findings or no cause or whatever.
Sorry for the misspelling...I do that a lot.

What about the 'conflict of interest' article? I think it's at the LDA website or the lyme alliance site. Anyway, it does name names....powerful reading.

Thanks for the info Nan. Not that I am an advocate of Steere, but the fact remains, his record is clean. I was not aware of an investigation, but evidently, there were no negative findings, so...

As for my name, I didn't intend to single you out Nan. For some reason, many folks refer to me as "Durameter!" So much for trying to use a neuro-related anatomical term...

Anyway, Steere's got a clean record.

TinCup,
I apologize in advance for trying to ride on your coattail (post), cuz I don't want to dilute your efforts on this, but I am burning up with curiousity and you are standing in some muck that I just can't wade through. I know that i'm going to come across sounding like such a ninnny, but if someone could answer this question for me I would feel like I wasn't so stuipi\\d.

Why is Steere clean as a whistle? Why aren't there any cases against someone like himself? Just wondering. Am I missing some really big piece to this puzzle?

Since I have aked this question before, and haven't received any responses regarding this kind of issue I am left wondering if the question is being evaded on purpose. Does anyone know if there have EVER been any big lawsuits regarding LD (except for the vaccine, that I am aware about). I've done searches....can't find any.

regards

Hey Ninny.. I mean Paisley... HA!

Don't know why he would be clean as a whistle.. except for the fact that...

You can't sue someone for being STUPID!

That covers Bumsteere's butt.. and the whole shabang gang of butt kissers... through all of this, I guess?

You see.. they claim to be "experts".. then when you try to nail them for their bad practices.. they wiggle through the cracks, claiming no brains.

As far as big lawsuits.. there are a few on record.. like the one here in Maryland.

I think .. off the top of my head.. it was 3.2 million win for the patient? A young boy was damaged by doctors missing and/or not treating.

And until recently.. lawyers needed Camp B doctors to be able to jump up and down on Camp A doctors in court.. and we needed LOTS of documentation that we are right... and so far it hasn't been a situation that has been good for the few LLMD's we have (risking everything).

And.. many ducks are still hanging out in the same old scum pond and backing up each others mistakes. They MUST protect themselves at this point.

As far as insurance... it seems you may be asking questions from some of my other posts? (Just so folks here know what we are doing)..

Anyhow..

If we pass these bills.. it kinda orders insurance to pay for our long term treatment and not limit us to a short term course.

This would be fantastic news for many.

Now.. my brain quit on me about 2 hours ago.. so if I have missed what you are trying to say.. or have asked.. please let me know.

HOPE that helps some?
