pq,
I have not taken it myself. I know someone who has, and said it was helping her.
Unfortunately, her computer has been down for a couple of months now, and I can't get in touch to ask her how she's doing.
Last time we talked, she said she thought it was helping.

the magnesium carbonate, pique my curiosity, as long ago, i read somewhere that CO2, itself, or some 'activated' metabolite of it kills certain bacteria.
other forms of magnesium had good, bad, and a mixt.,both of good and bad effects in lymies supplementing magnesium.

the sodium citrate content is also a curiosity, and would have some of the same/similar activity as magnesium citrate, the latter having to do with ATP production. Bb does not like ATP, but it likes AMP, and maybe ADP. (adenosine tri-, di, and mono-phosphate).

i don't know if the sodium content of sod.-citrate is significant enough to offset symptoms of a low sodium level.

this discussion is not mean as a search for monotherapy, but in the vein of adjunctive supplementation; magnesium and often sodium are "wasted,"at least in borreliosis with babesiosis also perhaps contributing to low magnesium levels.

one possible piece of evidence for Bb not liking ATP comes from a former l/n member who tried i.v. ATP and got a headache. while there probably are other reasons for the headache as well, and which i've not read anywhere withrespect to giving ATP by i.v., the effect of the ATP would be one.

i'm necessarily being general, because the technical explanation is too lenghty and time-consuming to type-in.
