Has anyone had frequent corneal ulcers? I have had 7 in the last 11 months. My eye dr. is baffled. I didn't see any other posts on this topic, so I'm thinking it may not be a lyme or a coinfection issue. But, I have no other explanation.

I don't know anything about corneal ulcers as a separate condition, but did have terrible eye problems from bartonella.

I couldn't believe your post!!! Have also had repeated unexplained corneal ulcers -- 6 within a year and a half with absolutely no risk factors (no contacts, hot tubs, etc.)
Corneal specialist biopsied and ran all kinds of labs, all negative. My LLMD put me on Rocephin IV 8 wks. because he thought possible Bart. None for 2 yrs after that.
Did have another one recently while traveling near where you are, so called the office of the LLMD Neuro-Opth. there and saw the cornea guy in his practice. They hadn't seen anybody like me and were also baffled, but very interested. They didn't think lyme involved because they hadn't seen or heard of anyone with the same history.
I, of course, continue to think it has to be lyme related, and you convince me even more. You can PM if you'd like.

This was my very first Lyme symptom...really bad one two months after the tick bite. Also really bad sun sensitivity at that time. I have Lyme and Bartonella. I think my LLMD attributes it to Bart. 7 in a year sounds like such a pain! Sorry you are going through that!
