Anyone out there have any luck dealing with the insurance commissioner in NJ on Lyme related medical issues?
I sent my case out to the "outside" party through the state of NJ but they still sided with Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield in terms of squashing all antibiticc treatment for me. They actually used the IDSA guidelines as their reason also.
ANy new help would nbe apprecaited. Mepron is very expensive! Not to mention all the lyme meds!

Hides,
I would reach out to the Lyme Disease Association (http://www.lymediseaseassociation.org/ContactUs.html). They are based in NJ so may have advice.
It provides information on drug discount programs by the pharmaceutical companies. I know Mepron can be free if your income is low enough. If you have questions filling it out, call them. They are very helpful.
