I know that BeJoy said the homeopathic remedies of bartonella and borrellia from Deseret Biologicals really helped her. Has anyone else tried them and if so what was your experience?

Anyone else try other homeopathic brands?

Thanks. Hiker53

Here's an older message thread that has quite a few comments on this:

I am a former user of the Borrellia remedy by Deseret. I used it for 4 months about 18 months ago.

Did it help? Well, I did herx and I have had a much less bumpy ride these past 18 months.

Is it a cure? NO.
Did it help? Hard to say.
Do I regret having used it. NO

I have not been on this board much at all these past 12 months. And not to cause a problem, but I resent tonyzman(see link to old post above) from asking if I felt a fool for using this product.

I have a life--a very consistent, happy, liveable life. I see an excellent LLMD who has helped me get much more stable. I am still in treatment using both abx and other alternative supplements. I have come through menopause with very few problems and NO hormone treatments all while dealing with lyme. I attribute that to the use of all the alternative treatments I have used to get to where I am today.

In order to get through this disease and come out on the other side without totally destroying your future health you must be open to using any treatment that MAKES SENSE TO YOU. Trust your gut after reading, talking, listening.

If you are extremely sick I do NOT believe you can get better without using abx first. This is my OPINION only. At my worst, I was bedridden, having seizures and heart palpitations.

Now my worst symptoms are a headache about once per month, some muscle pain and occasional insomnia(even the meds I was on for that have been cut by 85%).

This board has been a great source of info and support. I still check it from time to time as we change protocols.

to the original poster: if you can afford to try the Deseret Biologicals and have a doc that overseas your treatment, I would do it. I do not know of any problems as a result of using this product and if it helps you in any way it will be worth it.

The only way to ever get rid of this lyme stuff is one baby step after another. Eventually we will cross the finish line!!!!

Old thread, but I was wondering if anybody has had any good experiences with this? My LLMD is sending me some, the bacteria combination.

Anybody?
