For those of you who have been on or are on IV Rocephin. How long did your ins. keep paying?

My insurance paid for as long as the doc ordered it. But that was 4 years ago with a private insurer. Now it seems they only pay for 28 days. But you need to check with your own insurance company as they some times differ.

I started with four weeks and the Dr. extended it two more weeks and insurance is paying.

I have been covered 1st time through 8 weeks. Ins did not stop paying, doctor stopped ordering.
2nd round 5 weeks so far.

Got to ten weeks with no problem, then had line issues.
