I got bit 3 years ago. I went on to develop POTS, and a host of other symptoms. My LLMD said I was one of the sickest he'ld ever seen.
Went into remission 6 months ago, and stayed off abx for 3 months..relapsed a little, but chose to ignore it.
When I couldn't ignore it anymore..I went back on abx. It seems if I pulse the week before my period, I do well. I can live with 3 weeks off abx, 1 week on.
Anyways, after spending a year on my couch, I now walk 3-4 miles a day, 3x/week; and take yoga 2 times a week. Back to work and life.
The first year..no improvement, after 18 months things started to turn around.
Hang in there, it does get better.

Beths, thank you SO MUCH for shring your story! Congratulations on your improvment!
Could you please please please also post this in the Success Stories thread? Once these kinds of posts drop away into the back pages, it is very hard to seach for and find them again.
The Success Stories thread is a sticky in General Support, so everyone has a chance to find them in one place.
Thank you in advance! We need to collect these stories in one place - I have lost count of how many times I see people losing hope and wondering where all the people that got better are, or if they even exist.
These stories are very appreciated. Maybe the most vaulable thing on here, after newcomers find their info and begin proper treatement.
Thanks so much for sharing; I hope your success continues! It really is appreciated that you take the time to give those of us still in the middle of this mess some very needed hope. Best wishes. TS
