I was a confirmed case of Lymes last summer 2008.

I did doxy treatment for 2 months.

Now I'm worried I might have Lyme again/it never went away. I have more of the muscle, Neurological System, Respiratory and Circulatory System, Ringing in ears...etc.

What is mostly bothering me is a high heart rate/anxiety.

Is it possible my Lyme did not go away the first time?

I just moved from MN to ohio as well.

Should I get retested?

It is very possible you were under-treated. If you are still having symptoms, it's likely you need longer treatment. No need to retest, you already know you had Lyme, that you were exposed, the symptoms are still there.

You should find an LLMD near you. Post in seeking doctors and someone will send you a list of docs.

Testing doesn't mean anything, you have to go by your symptoms. Most likely it never was treated properly, your doses were too low and it was not long enough!

Kate with heart symptoms you should be seen right

away. There is usually a wait to see LLMD's right

now. It may be possible to get in to someone who

will treat long enough to get to LLMD. Most doc's

do not know the borrelia have the ability to act

like syphilis and not be cured because it can

protect itself. LLMD's do. While waiting you can

get copies of all your tests and any pics if you

had the rash to take to your LLMD.

Test no matter where they are given are very faulty on the side if neg.
You need to get on abxs then after a 5 days get tested that will free up antigens and kill some spirochetes which will let the pieces dna show up in blood and urine if infected enough and it sounds like you are.
Recommend good LLMD and Igenex testing.

I had doxy 100mg for 56 pills...

I had a western blot and tested posititve for borrelia bands 23 & 41 which was interperted by Lyme IgM WB as positive but IgG as negative (only 2 out of 5) but they considered this a positive test overall.

That plus my 2 pictures of my leg definitely made it positive.

Good Job on the pics. Get to someone right away for more meds with heart symptoms and then to LLMD.
