I'm taking Rifampin 300 x 2 and Mino 200 x 2 daily. I do take milk thistle, but should I be concerned about my liver while using this combination?

Both of these meds can raise liver enzymes. Hubby is doing ok on the Rifampin at 600 mg and Mino at 150 mg. He also takes Ativan and Amantadine which are both also listed as possible liver problem meds. The Levaquin he takes was not listed as a potential liver problem med in my lab manual.
When he tried to add in Questran his liver enzymes became elevated for the first time in over 8 years of being sick. Came back to normal after 2 weeks off the Questran. Have not really tried to put him back on that right now.
Hubby also takes milk thistle, dandelion and a few other things for liver support.
Just realized you said you were on Mino 2 times per day -- that is a very high dose.
Not always, but I think more often than not most meds that are going to affect the liver do so fairly quickly -- within a couple of weeks.
It is good to do baseline bloodwork before adding new meds and then within 1 or 2 weeks after adding the meds.
Good luck.
