Hi ALL,
Anyone have or know anyone who has had occasional bleeding.
Not only that upon testing pain sends to ceiling if could. I know pain well 24/7.
This is diff. Only when they did Ultra sound & pap.
They do not know?
Tests so far think look OK? [bonk]

Something has to be wrong none this is normal???
Just wondering anyone has this type pain??

Know Ovarian cancer very sneaky, bang before you know. Pap tests are not always right on that.
Ovaries all have left......
Huggggssss to ALL IN Need, Kerry [group hug]

Kerry, a transvaginal ultrasound or a CAT scan of your ovaries *should* be able to detect any issues, cancer or otherwise.

Bleeding at your age, obviously should be investigated....PAP tests are directed to cervical cancer, I doubt that ovarian cancer would be found via PAP.

Others will be along to answer as to your pain issues. I don't have any pain, but am being evaluated for ovarian cancer.

best,
Feelfit

Did you mean that you are 60 yrs old?? Perhaps you need an estrogen cream to keep that area in good health. Not having it and needing it, could result in pain during a PAP smear.

Or.. you could have an issue related to Interstitial Cystitis called vulvodynia. Google that one.

hope this helps!

Hi, Thanks for reply, lymetoo & realfit.
Yes, had ultrasound but was so painful not sure if could do best job.
Ovaries are still on list.
You are right about the cream, I am using so they can just get a look. Said, had about worse case of atrophic vaginitis++.
We are Starting with cream. For Now.
Not cystitis have had it but not blood from that area. Pap OK, but had hysterectomy so only ovaries. Had it at 34. SO they were left.
Since unable to do much to get where need to.??
Huggssss, to all in Need, Kerry

Had minor bleeding at age 59. They found 3 cysts. Hysterectomy? Yes or No? I said Yes because if it's not there, it can't cause cancer.

The lab found a pre endometrial cancer and I missed that bullet.

Now I say, "When in doubt, take it out."
