My doc told me today that she heard that armour can't meet demands because the lab has been in production for the swine flu vaccine, and couldn't use their normal amount of machines to produce thyroid.
Totally bizarre, I know, but she thought it was good news, as when the flu vaccine production slows down, things will get back to normal at Forest Labs.
I don't know, maybe another rumor, maybe true.

As of last week, there wa no Armour in all of Dallas. Boo!
I did get it compounded at the advice of aome people here. So far, so good.
i still don;t know why compunding pharmacies have it but not the labs at Nature-throid or Armour.

It seems to have had a domino effect on other versions as well. I know one online pharmacy I use was out of dessicated meds as well as synthetic T3...
I'm sure this will change once companies adapt to the increased demand for alternatives.
