My daughter had strep throat two weeks ago. I have had a sore throat for about a week. the kind Where its just a little anoying, maybe from Lyme is what i was thinking, because that is what i have had in the past.

but i have had swollen glands since yesterday, headache and neckpain and its hard to swallow today so this is different.

The reason I dont think it is strep is because I have no fever, which is miraculous, since I have had one for 3 years. My throat also doesnt hurt that bad.

I will likely got to the doc in the am but looking for some opinions.
thanks

You should get it checked out. I had strep throat which was treated; but still turned into systemic strep. My LLMD discovered it on my first visit to him via blood test. I had the strep throat 3 months prior to my first LLMD visit.

I also have sore throats all the time that I think are lyme related because I don't have fever with them. Had a little fever when I had the strep.

Sore throats are pretty normal for me also. I might go 3 months and then there it is again. I don't run temp with these.

I usually have increase in other sx at the same time.

I had sore thoats sx a few weeks ago but it was some cold/flu virus going around. It takes me a few days to figure out if it the same old same old or is it really a new virus.
