Ever since I started the doxy, my breast are very tender, and sometimes i get burning or pain in my breast and chest area. I started the doxy two months ago. Does anyone else get chest pains or breast tenderness? My OB did a chest exam, and he said everything felt normal. I looked on WEBMD, and that just freaked me out because the results were breast cancer. lol.. Which I already know I dont have since he felt no lumps.
Any advice?

I have right breast/chest pain.....it seemed to get better on doxy.....when i stopped doxy and started treating babesia it came back......
started omnicef a week ago and seems a little better again.......I did have an ultrasound and there was nothing suspicious except some enlarged lymph nodes in my arm pit.....
There is threads on lymph nodes if you do a search.......
I plan on asking my LLMD monday at my appointment........good luck

Yes I have had severe breast pain. I did have an ultra sound (as there were small nodules) and I have also had a biopsy. The biopsy had some abnormal cells but not cancerous.
They want to do a lumpectomy to make sure there is no cancer. I am not a doctor but I believe it is related to the Lyme. I know exactly when the pain began and the lumps developed.
I also believe the pain has gotten better with treatment. Just my opinion. Maybe I'm in denial.

Consider to increase your Vitamin B6 or P5P. It eliminated the problem for me. I took between 100 - 200 mg for a few weeks, a bit higher one day, less the next day, etc.
Take care.

I have that too on doxy. I think it gets into the fatty tissues more than other antibiotics.

Could be lymph related. Dry brushing, rebounder.
