Igenex test 2010: IGM 1:20 IGG 1:40
Had taken one month Ceftin. Igenex says "should be considered negative". The "<" dropped off. What does that mean?? Thanks.

Not sure what the test results mean. But as far as I know, Ceftin is not very effective against Bartonella.
Good luck!

Tks. Ceftin taken for LD challenge. Lyme friendly doctor pulled the blood for Igenex and at last minute I asked to be re-tested for Bart. I have some of the symtoms like photophobia (unless that is only caused by my dry eyes - but oddly enough my eyes became sun/glare sensitive about a year before they became dry and painful). I suffer from extreme anxiety, agitation and depression now. My eyes and mental state my worse symptoms. I have never had the skin symptoms ie stretch marks etc. I took the results to my LLD who commented that there was a change in that the "<" were not there. But apparently that for now not enough to treat for Bart. I doubt I could handle those meds. Was something seen by lab to make the results now "equivocal"? Otherwise why the difference?
