Has anyone tried IV hydrogen peroxide? Is it safe? Is it effective? I am about to try it, but read something on the Internet that made me concerned. Please share your experience bad and good. Thanks a lot!

It has no effect on the cyst form. This thing's like freakin' Anthrax.

I tried IV hydrogen peroxide, years ago, to increase NK cells for CFS.
It blew out my veins, and had very little effect on NK cells...I would never recommend it.

I would not do it either. I know someone who did... no lasting effect.

I tried it before I thought I had Lyme when they were telling me it was Fibromyalgia. It did nothing. It just gave me a headache & made the doctor rich...
GITNIP - means good in theory, not in practice... in my experience.

I had hydrogen peroxide treatment for awhile (4 x's per week) along with silver through a port, but neither helped me at all, and was VERY expensive! Not to say it won't help you, but it had absolutely no effect on my symptoms.

hey you guys, It would be nice to have a thread about things people have tried and got no benefit from. They still have the option of trying whatever they want but are a little more informed going in.
Maybe save some folks time and money and the big disappointment of it not working.

It may not have an effect on the cyst form, but I wanted to relay something my dentist said. Their practice looks under the microscope for dental spirochetes. If found, they use topical hydrogen peroxide applied to the gums in trays in order to push the spirochetes into a cyst form. Once in that form, they do less damage to the body. His comment was that they know they cannot eradicate them and thus the goal is to try and force them into a cyst/dormant form. Interesting that a dentist understands spirochetes more than many doctors...

I highly highly do not recommend this as it is dangerous and has not had good results by most.
