Hi all--- I have been doing IV Rocephin 2g daily at my docs office for 2 wks. Everyday they take my BP which is usually around 90-95 over 60-65. Today it was 88/66.. are these numbers too low? Could they be contributing to the "funny" dizzy feeling I have so often?
Thanks... any advice?

You should get a tilt table test with Isuprel challenge done by a cardiologist. www.wildcondor.com/bp

I do get lightheaded when I stand up... especially if I am sitting in certain positions or when coming out of the bathtub.
I've never tried salt tabs, but eat a pretty high salt diet (I really like salt!). I guess I should bring this up with my LLMD tomorrow.

- renny,
Yes, as WC suggests, a Tilt Table Test seems in order and your LLMD should know about it.
First, though, some support supplements may set you right. And, If you are using regular table salt, it's good to switch to SEA salt.
Adrenal support can help . . . and other suggestions in the cardiac thread regarding NMH, neurally mediated hypotension and what can help.
When getting out of the bathtub, slowly cool down before you stand up. Don't shock your body with a cold rinse, but a gradual cooling down and rinse with lukewarm water may help. Also don't get a bath too hot, warm is good, not hot. Heat really messes up a lot of those dealing with lyme.
