I have read that some LD suffers get cured or remission from iv recephin. My doc doesn't do IV.
Anyone have good experience with rocephin? how long did you treat with rocephin.

Most of my symptoms are peripheral nerve symptoms---burning skin, muscle twitches & some floaters. Thanks for your replys.

I am doing better, but I also did 5-6 orals at the same time. YOu must treat all three forms of Lyme, plus co-infections at the same time.

7 months on IV.

Did Iv rocephin 9 1/2 months. Felt a little better on it, but really went down when I stopped.

Part of the time couldn't take anything else with it due to c-diff positive tests.

This is my 4th time on rocephin iv. Its great, but relapsed after 8 mos. 1st time was on 10 mos, thought it was done-, next 6 mos, back on orals, 6 mos, back on orals 7 mos, this time started in January and still on, don't know when. It ws my fault, felt so well, I got off everything for 8 mos. Came back with a vengeance, this is the hardest time to lick it. got gall bladder out at first round. Good luck. remember, it hides, its really tricky.

I know of 2 people who exp full recovery after taking IV Rocephin. One has been completely fine for almost 20 years. Another, it's been 5. One step at a time...each of us will find our way.
