Ok, I now have a swollen left outer vaginal fold with two palpable bumps under the skin!
I've had plenty of yeast infections before while on abx and a sore bump on occasion after sex but nothing just like this!!!
EDITED TO ADD: These are not superficial they are inside of the skin. So, I wouldn't call them warts as some may be thinking.
Also, I have never had sex with anyone but the 2 men I have been married to. So ... unless they cheated on me, I am practically a "virgin" as far as promiscuity!
Is this just a type of yeast infection coming on? If so, I do have the Flagyl ready to take and I'm going to take one anyways. I just am getting freaked by these bumps!

What would Flagyl do to treat a yeast infection? NOTHING. To treat a yeast infection you need anti-fungal drugs like Diflucan. I would go to an OB/GYN and be evaluated.

Everytime I got a bump, I got freaked out and went to the gyno. She said it was an ingrown hair. One time, I begged her to pop it, and she did. Lots of relief!!

If it's a possible ingrown hair or blocked gland of some kind, maybe a soak in warm water would help. If it doesn't help, contact your doctor.

- " two palpable bumps" could be run-of-the mill cysts - and sounds like blocked glands. This just happens sometimes. I've had several over the years. If they don't get better in the next couple of days, call your gyn.
A warm bath may help. Never hot, but nice and warm, and then gently, slowly, cool down.

Yes try the warm baths, etc.
My daughter gets these pimple like boil things every now and then - some women just get them. When they finally "pop" huge relief. Some are ingrown hairs some are not.
I would go to your Dr. -he/she may be able to provide some relief - both physically and mentally. And it may be something beside what we are all thinking, too - more than likely it's not serious but needs to be looked into.
It really doesn't sound like yeast.

Well, I did forget to share this with you all! *sighs*
As I was trying to investigate what was causing the discomfort in "said region" (lol) I thought I found an inbedded tick nearby! I panicked and called my dear husband to remove it for me!
I was lying on my back ... spread eagle ... on the bathroom floor ... sweating and nauseated with FEAR!
He probed and probed with an eye tweezer and it burst ... releasing quite a bit of blood. He said it was simply a blood-filled pocket ... no tick!
It's still there today even after I probed and made it bleed a bit more myself ... but no tick that we can see.

This does sound like a blocked gland.
Do hot compresses to the labia, which will help it to heal much quicker. (The vagina is the birth canal, inside of the body. The labia are the skin folds around the vaginal entrance and the urethra.)
You can use a thick washcloth wrung out in hot water. Apply for 15 minutes every hour, or as often as you can manage.

Thanks, Carol. I really DID know the proper terminology ... lol ... but for some reason that sounds worse than vaginal. HA HA!
I will definitely try the hot compresses and see if these things will burst!

Hot compresses may bring it to a head to drain, but it's more likely to promote the healing process, and reduce the inflammation.
Hot compresses are also good treatment for pimples, boils, any inflamed area.
LED light therapy is excellent for this as well. The light transmits energy to the mitochondria in the cells, reducing pain and inflammation and setting the cells on the road to healing.

Just a brief update ... I can now only fine one of the "lumps" and I have had a bit of increased itchiness so I'm hoping this is all just yeast!
I'll remain on the DIFLUCAN and see what the next couple of days will bring!

I'm thinking you mean diflucan, right - like you said above? I always mix up my words, too.
Glad this is resolving and that you can laugh about it.
I have chronic pain issues in that area (since 2005) and I hate when others have to worry about that 'stuff'!
