I've seen all the lists of what different bands mean but I'm curious what your thoughts might be on the following Igenex results:

IFA BB GMA 1:40 (IND)

IGG
39 IND
41 ++
58 ++
83-93 IND

IGM
31 ++
34 IND
39 IND
41 +++
58+
83-93 +

My sister has been sick for a couple of years and has seen more doctors than I can count. I recommended she test for Lyme. Any thoughts on the above?

Thanks...

Yes, by looking at this test, I would say she has Lyme Disease. She has some VERY specific bands that identify Lyme DNA.

I had 23, 41, and 93.
23= OspC protein of Lyme,
41= Flagella or tail to help things move for bacteria
93= DNA of Lyme Disease

If I were you, have here see a LLND, or LLMD. I have been sick for almost a year.

Good Luck : [Smile]

Thanks for the response. We are so thankful to finally get some news as to why she has been so sick. I've been in this Lyme battle with my son for a year now. Her symptoms were all too familiar.

I found a doctor for her that is Lyme Literate. Can't wait to get her on the road to recovery.

Thanks again...

You're a good brother!! [Smile]

Definitely Lyme in my little book. Can't argue with the DNA of the Bb.

Thanks Lymetoo. I've seen info on this board regarding bands 31 and 34. Some of it is confusing as it appears many disagree with what they mean.

Since she is positive for band 31 (IGM) and IND on band 34 (IGM), does this mean she has had this at least a year?

What are your thoughts on band 58? She was positive for IGG and IGM.

Thanks again...

I know band 31 means long term Lyme.

According to Dr C, band 58 is significant.
