Has anyone had an experiences with this neurological disorder?

When I first heard about this and looked into it, it sounded alot like Lyme Disease. The initial symptoms of peripheral neuropathy are similar in both.

At one point my dad was diagnosed with charcot marie tooth, they thought he had ankylosing spondylitis, and finally decided limb girdle dystrophy. All I know is that in the longrun he ended up bedridden, had alzheimers and was positive for Lyme.
