Or all co-infections as well? Won't have igenex labs until next week so not sure what the Lyme will show. Other than nausea and a bad day here and there, I feel better after one week of 400mg of doxy with respect to fatigue and brain fog.

- ILADS (and LLMDs' recommendations regarding self-care) covers all tick-borne infections. Excellent self-care is necessary and will pay off in the long run, really.
It's very important to have this book as a reference tool for self-care and support measures. It answers so many questions in detail that is impossible here on the forum.

A low carb diet helps prevent or fight off candida, which you are likely to develop eventually while on long term antibiotics.
That diet also (from my own experience, and from reading) reduces inflammation in your body. Inflammation contributes to various health problems--heart disease, diabetes, asthma, arthritis, cancer--as well as to Lyme symptoms, so reducing it is generally good for you.
The low carb diet also helped me lose 35 pounds that I wanted to lose.
Processed food, sugar, alcohol and caffeine all have negative health consequences anyway, and sometimes nasty chemical ingredients, so it is good to avoid them and eat "real food" that comes from nature.
I don't know if there are any specific diet recommendations that are different for different coinfections. I do know that people with Lyme may develop gluten intolerance, in which case they need to eat gluten free as well.
