Morning all,
just started treating bart with cipro/doxy. Is numbness/tingling a issue with bart?

The tingling although I know it's lyme and takes a long time to resolve, could it be bart as well?

I'm also starting to herx which could be why the tingling is coming back as well.

According to this site, tingling is a serious side effect of Cipro requiring you to stop the med and call the doctor:

I get tingling too but don't know what is causing it. It was gone for over a year and then recently came back, although briefly. I increased bart meds because of a flare in symptoms - so hard to figure out what is what. For me, the tingling is in the thigh of my left leg. I also have been having cramps and shin pain and burning. Sure hope it is a herx - for both of us.

Janice, I hear you. But, if a drug is causing tingling, you really should let the doctor know.

You don't want to be damaged by a medication, which is a possibility.

Doxy made my fingers/arms tingle. Even if I did not get direct sun, anytime I ran water over my arms, it tingled.
