Will you please share your meds and pulse schedule?

I plan to ask my doctor if this would be an option for me.

I tried this and I did not beat babesia. I did a MWF for two weeks on two weeks off. I would not recommend it unless your doctor thinks it is truly in your best interest. I have had to start from square one again.

I was on mepron two teaspoons twice a day and zith 500 once a day and lots of Art. I think 800 twice a day... that left a terrible taste in my mouth for hours.

I did this for seven months. I was also on doxy at the time which I have read can reduce the effectiveness of the mepron. Bad choice all together. I believe in Burrascano's guidelines and only does he say pulse if your body requires it and later from what I can gather. I don't know what you have done in the past but I hope that your next step gets you well on your way...

Thank you for the input. Sounds like I will need to take Mepron daily.

I don't think pulsing meds is a good idea with Babesiosis.

I HAVE to pulse because I can't tamp down any of the three diseases I'm dealing with if I don't.

This is my current pulse therapy: mepron/zith/art every other week for babs; amoxicillin/minocycline every third week for Lyme; levaquin every other third week for bart.

I do plaquenil and low-dose naltrexone, too, every day.

I also rife for bart every day.

I feel much, much better overall with this regimen.

Pulsing works for me. - Lymelady

I pulsed for a year with Mepron, zith and artemisnin. I made huge improvement.

Then my insurance wouldn't cover the zith any more, and my white count was low, which my LLMD thought was due to the zith, so I had to make changes.

Without the zith I began to relapse for the second time. I recently switched to a different protocol, but I don't think it's working well either.

I have Babs Duncani, which is really difficult to get rid of.
