Seems like many lymies don't know that Lyme can give you a heart attack. I didn't know I had lyme cardis until I started taking ceftriaxone and my chest pains went away.

Before I was diagnosed I went to the ER twice because I thought I was having a heart attack. Boy, am I glad that's behind me.

Yep- I still have those symptoms since I've had to stop treating. I am hoping that once I start treating again they will stop.

Based on the tick-bites mentioned a few weeks prior to hospital admission, Lyme carditis was considered with the administration of antibiotics.
